Amrita, Malaika share close bonding
By Swati R. Chaudhary, Indo-Asian News Service
Mumbai, July 24 (IANS) Glamorous sisters Amrita and Malaika
Arora share an extremely close bond, happy in each other's
success and sharing the trauma of their failures
too.
Amrita says she doesn't believe in the concept of sibling
rivalry.
"I am extremely close to Malaika and the bond we share is
unexplainable. We depend on each other and feel happy for each
other's success. I just can't do without her. We
are always there to help and motivate each other. Like success,
we share our failures as well", said Amrita, reported Bollywood
Trade.
Amrita may have a good fashion
sense, but it seems her acting career is not going great guns.
She has only Vikram Bhatt's suspense thriller "Red" to talk
about.
"I play this dark gothic character in the film. It is a suspense
thriller. It is something that I have never done before. I have
dark eyes, dark hair and I have also worn coloured
lenses and a nose ring for this film," said Amrita, who
underwent quite a makeover for the role.

I am a narcissist, says Kunal Kapoor
After the phenomenal success of "Rang De Basanti", Kunal Kapoor
has become a heartthrob of many with his stunning looks, but
says he is not in a hurry to sign films,
reported Bollywood Trade.
"I am not on a signing spree. I don't want to rush into anything
right now. The script has to excite me. I have been watching
films ever since I was a kid. Actors are
narcissists and greedy and I'm no exception to it.
"I want to work with good directors who'll bring out the best in
me. This helps to lay the foundation, and is very important for
an actor, especially in his formative years," said
Kunal.
His forthcoming film is director Milan Lutharia's "Hattrick",
where he will share screen space with stalwarts like Naseeruddin
Shah, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar and
gorgeous Hema Malini.
"I can't reveal much about it right now. It is directed by Milan
Lutharia and produced by UTV. It has cricket as its backdrop and
the music is by Pritam.
Kunal, who worked as Rakeysh Mehra's assistant in "Aks", says:
"I was in awe of Amitabh Bachchan. His energy level and
dedication is way too amazing."

Bollywood's wondrous de-stressors
Stress is inevitable considering today's frenetic lifestyle and
maddening schedules and it can take its toll on people but our
Bollywood belles know their way out. From
watching films, slurping on ice-creams to practicing yoga - they
do it all to unwind.
"I catch up on sleep. A good eight-nine hours sleep works
wonders for me. It rejuvenates me completely," said Kangana
Ranaut.
However, Bengali bombshell Koena Mitra has a different stress
strategy. "A hot shower and a rigorous work out unwinds me
totally," she said.
Actor Koel Purie indulges in martial arts and gorges on ice
creams, reported Bollywood Trade.
"I sweat it out in a capoeira class. (Brazilian martial art),
then have ice-cream and catch up with my friends," she said.
Model-turned-actor Sushma Reddy has a cool way of de-stressing
herself after a hard day's work.
"I enjoy watching films after a hard day's work. It relaxes me
completely. I think even yoga is an amazing way of rejuvenating
oneself."
Ayesha Takia pampers herself with yoga and meditation. "The
people around me are my ideal de-stressors. My mom and Farhan
mean a lot to me and revive me totally.
Besides, I also do yoga and meditation regularly," said Ayesha.
