Film News on July
How about a sequel to 'Kaho Na...'
By Arpana, Indo-Asian News Service
Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) After the stupendous success of "Krrish", Rakesh Roshan is said to be actively considering part three of "Koi... Mil Gaya" to go on with the adventures of the super-hero. So, one wonders whether a sequel to "Kaho Na Pyaar Hai" is also on the cards.
Hrithik's debut film with Amisha Patel ended with quite an interesting twist and a sequel would be quite in keeping with the trend these days - after "Krrish" and even "Phir Hera Pheri".
"It would be nice to see Hrithik-Amisha together again. The couple shared great on-screen chemistry and complemented each other in 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai'," said a source.
Their debut vehicle was undoubtedly one of the most successful launch pads in filmdom.
Amisha, whose career nosedived after "Humraaz", is back in the business with Vikram Bhatt's "Ankhaee". Right now, she is eagerly awaiting Ratan Jain's "Aap Ki Khatir" and Farhan Akthar's "HoneyMoon Travels Pvt. Ltd".

Sonu finds a fan in Abida Parveen
The versatility of Sonu Nigam's voice and his stunning command over melody has kept him at the top for several years with the singer boasting a hard-to-beat unofficial record of spinning hit after hit.
The latest on the artist is that Pakistan's famous singer Abida Parveen was so moved by his performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London a few weeks ago that she said no singer in either Pakistan or India could surpass Sonu's talent.
"I don't take the compliment seriously because there is no end to learning music and I know my plus points and minus points. But receiving a compliment from Abida Parveen was humbling and I appreciate it. It seems as if my hard work's paid off," said Sonu.
Way to go Sonu. Go ahead and take a bow!
