Barrymore had to drink whisky to sing

London, July 21 (IANS) Actress Drew Barrymore was so scared to
sing in her new film that she had whisky before shooting the
scene.
According to contactmusic.com, Barrymore plays a lounge singer
in the new film "Lucky You" and convinced director Curtis Hanson
that she desperately needed some
whisky before shooting.
She says: "I fundamentally have the worst voice ever given to a
human being!"
She found out how well she sang when she gauged the reaction
from the crew..
She adds: "No one was like, 'Wow', but I was just
happy no one had blood spurting out of their ears!"
