Farrell gives up his biking dream

London, July 26 (IANS) Irish movie star Colin Farrell has given
up his biking dreams because he has realised that he is not cut
for such adventures.
According to contactmusic.com, Farrell, who bought himself a
motorbike last year, took it for a ride through Death Valley,
California and the Grand Canyon in Arizona but
quickly realised that he wasn't cut out to be a leather-clad
biker.
Farrell says: "I just bought one because I thought I'd be a
motorbike guy and I don't think I really am. I went on a trip
with a few friends - we went through Death Valley, up to
Vegas, the Hoover Dam and then to the Grand Canyon. It was
beautiful, actually, except it was snowing in the Grand Canyon.

"I didn't have a clue what I was
doing, man. I came off the bike at about 30 miles an hour. There
were no cars around, so I was fine... I haven't ridden it since.
It was a mechanical problem with my right hand applying the
brake when it shouldn't have."
