New York, July 11 (IANS) Legendary actress Dame Elizabeth Taylor refuses to starve herself to conform to Hollywood standards because she enjoys indulging in food.

According to contactmusic.com, Taylor has seen her weight go up and down throughout her career but doesn't put any pressure on herself when it comes to her diet.

She says: "I wish I could be that size, but I can't be. I enjoy food too much. In the end, I am too hedonistic to be thin. I enjoy pleasures."

But the former femme fatale accepts that she still prefers to dress to impress the opposite sex.

She adds: "Men first. Myself. Then other women! Because you can't please women. They are horribly critical of each other and more so if you are famous. Meow."
