Johnny Depp shifting to island

London, July 16 (IANS) Actor Johnny Depp is shifting to a private desert island in Bahamas to raise his family.
According to contactmusic.com, Depp is moving from France to an island in the Bahamas, which he bought in 2004. He wants his family to live in peace and feels living on the island is the best way to ensure that.
He said: "It is so beautiful there, so peaceful, free and relaxed. We want to spend a lot more time there in the future because it is a completely different way of life. It'll be our home base, but we'll still spend time in France and in the States (US), so our children will grow up in both cultures."
