Hollywood film news on August
Gibson asked to confess to anti-Semitism
Indo-Asian News Service
Los Angeles, Aug 29 (IANS) Director Rob Reiner is urging Mel
Gibson to confess that his work reflects anti-Semitism.
According to Hollywood.com, Gibson went on an anti-Semitic
tirade after he was arrested for drunk driving.
But he said in a statement: "Please know from my heart I am not
an anti-Semite. I am not a bigot. Hatred of any kind goes
against my faith."
But Reiner, who is Jewish, is certain that Gibson is
anti-Semitic and that his movie "The Passion of the Christ" is
proof.
