Simpson considers working in remake

London, Aug 9 (IANS) Singer-turned-actress Jessica Simpson is
likely to act in the remake of the 1988 movie "Working Girl".
According to contactmusic.com, Simpson will play the role that
earned Melanie Griffith an Oscar nomination. Simpson is looking
forward to taking on her first lead role and
she believes the character Tess McGill is perfect for her. Tess
is a cute looking secretary who dreams and conspires to become
the boss.
Simpson's representative said: "It is one of the scripts Jessica
is considering."
