Astrologer Daruwalla releases predictions for 2006

New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS) A sneak preview into the future is what a new book of astrologer Bejan Daruwalla titled "Annual Horoscope 2006" offers to readers.
The book, released here Wednesday, predicts India will make steady progress in the field of technology and space research next year.
"India will ski to the outer limits of computers, space and technology," he said.
"The year 2006 will be vital for genes, research and information about them," said Daruwalla, adding the secrets of the working, function, power and intricacies of the brain will also be ferreted out and investigated in the coming year.
On being queried on the chances of these predictions coming true, one of the best-known fortune-tellers said his prophecy on tsunami and the Pope's death were some of the predictions that he had made for 2005 - and they came true.
Daruwalla, who combines Indian and Western astrology, I-Ching, Tarot Cards, Hebrew Kabala of numbers and palmistry - claimed he had also predicted problems in the married life of actress Karisma Kapoor.
Adding to the list of his predictions, Daruwalla said new systems of navigation next year would surprise many. "We will be on a voyage of discovery in 2006."
The astrologer predicted that the year would have greater stress on hygiene and health care. "Cures of several physical, mental and spiritual diseases would be attained which could boost in the field of medicine," he said.
For nine years, Hind Pocket Books has been publishing his predictions for all sun signs. The latest edition is priced at Rs.195.
