"Actually we are doing it in partnership with the Hingoranis with whom dad has done a whole series of films ('Kab Kyon Aur Kahan', 'Kahani Kismat Ki', 'Sultanat' etc). Dad suggested that we try this new venture. I was game for it. Though I don't know how much time I'll be able to devote to it. I'll be there for all the important decisions. In fact, I'll make time for it,"
Bobby told IANS.
The Deols have got into two restaurants. "One is Indian and the other Chinese. Then there's a banquet hall, which is big enough to accommodate 2,000 people. We've hired an event management company. Every weekend we'll try to get different artistes to perform. We started with Shaan's performance," says
Bobby.
About the little controversy regarding some questioning the Deols' right to serve liquor in their eateries, Sunny says: "I think that is an issue with Fun Republic where our hotels are situated. Though none of us drink, we'd have to serve liquor. It is part of the food entertainment. Let's see how it goes. I'm very optimistic about it."

Sony set to launch 'Fear Factor'
The big one for Sony Entertainment in 2006 is "Fear Factor", a thrill game show, which is going to be Indian television's first international production with India, Malaysia and Indonesia collaborating over the endeavour.
Says Tarun Katial: "It is the world's biggest reality thrill game show. It has been running in several countries for over 10 years. We have already shot 13 episodes on different themes in Malaysia with different TV stars and film actors. We go on air soon. This is a genre that has never been done before on Indian television."
In the meanwhile Tarun stoutly defends the melodrama and tears on "Indian Idol 2".
"The tears are not orchestrated. They are genuine. Being an Indian Idol means so much more to the participants than it did earlier. The first time around, the contestants didn't realise what being an Abhijeet Sawant meant. Now just being in the Top 10 is bliss. Hence the desperation and tears. You can't force tears on reality TV."
