'Dhoom' director Gadhvi
upset over kin's death
By Subhash K. Jha,
Mumbai, Nov 26 Sanjay Gadhvi, director of "Dhoom 2", could not
enjoy the special screening of his latest flick with his family
on his birthday, as he lost his brother-in-law the same day.

Gadhvi's family and friends were to
watch "Dhoom 2" Wednesday, which was the director's 40th
birthday as well. But the joyous occasion turned into a tragedy
because of his brother-in-law's death.
"He was Sanjay Gadhvi's only sister's husband and just
34-years-old. He woke up in the morning feeling uneasy and died
in his wife's arms before she could call for help. It's a huge
blow for the director and has completely taken the shine from
his moment of glory," said a source close to the director.
But the performance of "Dhoom 2" at the box office so far could
bring a smile to Gadhvi's face. His film has opened to the
biggest audience for any film this year. Could the passionate
Hrithik-Aishwarya kiss in the movie have something to do with
it?
