The film was earlier slotted for a Jan 6 release but Pooja confesses she wanted some more time to work on the pre-release campaign for the film, reports Bollywood Trade. "I felt it would be the perfect 'Holiday' for the Valentine's Day crowd," she says.
During the promotional campaign of the film, she intends to clear misconceptions that it is a remake of "Dirty Dancing".
"I don't know from where this rumour has originated, but the truth is that "Dirty Dancing" tells the story of sexual awakening of a young girl after she goes on a holiday.
"On the other hand my film hardly has anything to do with sexual awakening. It is about an ordinary and plain-looking girl, with a gawky face who is not comfortable with her looks and comes of age when she undergoes an inner transformation and emerges a confident person ready to take on the world," says
Pooja.
