Plans for sequels to 'Krrish', 'Phir Hera Pheri'
By Subhash K. Jha, Indo-Asian News Service

Mumbai, June 30 (IANS) It's raining sequels in Bollywood. Rakesh Roshan is all set to make another sequel to "Koi...Mil Gaya" after "Krissh". And there are hush-hush plans to put together another chapter in the continuing saga of "Hera Pheri" and "Phir Hera Pheri".

But "Phir Hera Pheri" director Neeraj Vora is not in a mood to go back to familiar terrain.

"I don't think I'd be making another 'Hera Pheri' film. I'd rather do something new than return to something I've already done," says the writer-turned-director who started his career as a director with the Akshay Kumar thriller "International Khiladi".

"After a thriller and a comedy, I'd like to do something else. I'm now making a romantic comedy for Shobha and Ekta Kapoor's Balajee Films. I'm working on the script right now. I'm definitely not doing the next 'Hera Pheri' film."

Rakesh Roshan, however, is going right ahead with the sequel to "Koi...Mil Gaya" and "Krissh".

"It would be foolhardy not to do another film in the series right now when there's a rage all over the world for 'Krissh'. I'm definitely doing another film in the series. But I can't start it until I can get a good script in place."
