Sandeep Chowta to be back with a bang

Mumbai, Dec 28 (IANS) Music director Sandeep Chowta, who initiated the concept of item numbers with super hits like 'Khallas' and 'Babuji', seemed to have disappeared from the scene. Understandable as he lost his beautiful Chennai beach house to the devastating tsunami last year.

But Chowta is set to return to Hindi films with a bang - that is more pulsating music. There is a rumour that he has shot a video for his next film with an Icelandic beauty called Ciga, reports Bollywood Trade.
And that he is planning to release the music of his film called "Flat" in the international format of singles.

Successful year for Bhatts!
Out of Mahesh Bhatt's three releases this year, two have turned out to be hits - "Zeher" and "Kalyug".
The Bhatt brothers have established that even small budget films on contemporary subjects with no big stars can rule the box office. And films need not rely on big stars and big budgets anymore.
This year the Bhatt brothers consolidated their position as good film marketers. Besides they have also hit upon the formula to make musical hits.

Celebs let their hair down at Akashdeep's birthday bash
Actress Sheeba always does things with a lot of passion and bringing in hubby director Akashdeep's birthday wasn't any exception.
The party she arranged was a grand affair with a lavish spread of food and an overflow of booze.
Celebs were seen having a ball at the party and many of them kept pouring in till the wee hours.
Those spotted included Moorani Brothers and Neelam Soorma, Himalay minus Bhagyashree, Sunil Lulla of Eros, Kunal Dasgupta of Sony, Johnny Lever with whom Akash has just started a mega TV show, Archana and Parmeet Sethi, Manoj Bajpai with wife and actress Neha, Ravi Behl, Hiten and Gauri and many others.

For 25-year-old Mohit Suri, 2005 has been a year to remember. He saw his first release "Zeher" as a director. While both his releases "Zeher" and "Kalyug" were hits, "Kalyug" even received critical acclaim.
He gave a break to his sister Smilie in his film "Kalyug". And above all, he managed to take time out for romance.
