Malkovich to play Kubrick conman
Indo-Asian News Service
London, Nov 24 (IANS) Actor John Malkovich is set to star as the conman who fooled Britain into thinking he was the reclusive movie director Stanley Kubrick in the early 1990s in a new film.
According to contactmusic.com, Malkovich will play Alan Conway in the new film "Colour Me Kubrick" which co-stars Jim Davidson, Honor Blackman, and Richard E. Grant.
Conway was a travel agent who died from cardiac thrombosis just months before Kubrick's death in 1999. He fooled many top British entertainers, actors and film critics.
"Colour Me Kunrick" will be shown in France next month and released worldwide in 2006.
