Beckinsale character dropped from 'Underworld 3'

London, May 22 (IANS) Actress Kate Beckinsale's character has been dropped from the third instalment of the "Underworld" series.
According to contactmusic.com, Beckinsale's husband, writer and director Len Wiseman is writing a prequel to the first two films but her character Selena won't be included in the script.
She says: "I think it is a prequel before I am actually in it, so I think that won't include me if it happens."
