Rod Stewart becomes father again - at 60

London, Nov 29 (DPA) British rock veteran Rod Stewart has become a father for the seventh time after his fiancee Penny Lancaster gave birth to a baby boy, it was reported Tuesday.
Their first child was born early Sunday morning at a London hospital, a statement issued by the couple said.
Singer Stewart, 60, paid tribute to Penny and said he cannot take his eyes off the latest addition to his family, who has yet to be named.
The pair, who have been together for nearly six years, are back at their home in Epping, northeast of London, with the new baby.
In a statement, Stewart said: "Both Penny and our baby son are gorgeous, healthy and doing well".
"We are celebrating every moment with our beautiful boy, we just can't take our eyes off of him", Stewart said.
Lancaster, 34, described the birth as the "most empowering and spiritual experience of my life".
The couple are expected to marry in the near future after Stewart proposed to Lancaster at the top of the Eiffel Tower in March this year.
His children include Kimberly, 26, and Sean, 25, by first wife, Alana Stewart; Ruby, 18, with former girlfriend Kelly Emberg; Renee, 13, and Liam, 11, from his marriage to Rachel Hunter. His eldest child, Sarah, 41, was born following a teenage romance.
