Watson says no to final two Harry Potter films
New York, March 19 Actress Emma Watson has reportedly
refused to continue her role as Hermione Granger in the last two
Harry Potter movies despite being offered $3.9 million.
The 16-year-old refused to sign a new contract because she is
tired of her role as Harry Potter's best friend and wants to do
something new. Warner Brothers confirmed that Watson has not
signed on for any more Harry Potter movies, reports
hollywood.com.
But her decision has thrown the final two films, "Harry Potter
and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows", into disarray with filming due to start later this
year.
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the film, said: "Watson
doesn't want to do it anymore. She's tired of being known as
'that girl from 'Harry Potter'.
"(Daniel) Radcliffe and I are distant from her now. We don't
text or talk to her when we are not filming."
Sandler and Cheadle in pain on movie set
London, March 19 Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler had
to bear loads of pain - literally - while filming "Reign
Over Me". The dark and dramatic script gave Sandler a
permanent headache and Cheadle tore his Achilles heel.
In the film, Sandler plays a man struggling to come to
terms with the loss of his loved ones in the 9/11 attack
and says that the disturbing elements of the story played
havoc with his health.
Contactmusic.com quoted him as saying: "The first time I
read it (the script) I was afraid of it so I just put it
away. I was kind of scared of it. One night, a month
later, it was next to my bed and I read it again and it
was very moving to me. I couldn't stop thinking about it
and it hurt my heart when I read it so much. I had a
headache almost every day on the set.
"Normally, in movies, I go to my trailer and there are 10
guys hanging out with me and we're laughing. This time I
was sitting all alone and just thinking and listening to
my iPod... It was a lot of work emotionally."
And while he brought mental pain to the set, his co-star
Cheadle was hobbling around after tearing his Achilles
heel six weeks before shooting started.
"There were a lot of questions as to whether I was gonna
be able to walk and run around and do things I had to do
in the movie," said Cheadle.

Uma and Andre spilt up again
Los Angeles, March 19 No one's saying for sure, but
it looks like Uma Thurman and Andre Balazs' three-year
sometimes on sometimes off relationship has finally hit
the skids this time.
The news of this current break up comes on the heels of
rumours that the two were planning to get married in the
Caribbean sometime this summer, reports www.hollywood.tv.
Last year, the 36-year-old Thurman attended the Oscars
alone, and later a statement was issued that she and the
50-year-old hotel magnate had broken up.
By that fall, however, the two were seen back together in
Copenhagen and NewYork. So it was assumed that her
relationship with Balazs, who owns New York's Mercer Hotel
as well as the Chateau Marmont and the Standard in Los
Angeles, was still going strong.
Meanwhile, her publicist Robert Garlock declined to make
any public comment.
Thurman is currently working on the film "The Accidental
Husband". |

computer centre as well as two sports fields.
Oprah's critics are pointing out that she has not

Romantic getaway saved Knowles relationship with Jay-Z
Los Angeles, March 19 Relationship in trouble? Then
head to Mexico for a quick fix. That's what singer Beyonce
Knowles did when her love life was in trouble.
"When Knowles and boyfriend Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter)
looked like they were headed for splitsville, she took him
to Mexico to patch up their relationship," a source close
to the singer told www.Hollywood.tv.
"To make things all the more romantic, she booked an
exclusive $11,000-a-night villa in Punta de Mita and
topped things off by getting him ticket to a Coldplay
concert in Mexico City.
"The rest of the time they either hung out by the pool or
hit the beach, where the two of them were said to be
constantly hugging, smiling and looking very in love,"

Grant to submit book anonymously
London, March 18 Actor Hugh Grant plans to submit
his first book under an anonymous name so that it won't be
judged on his celebrity status.
Grant is working on a "dark" and "disturbing" novel, and
confesses that he is not finished yet. He is concerned
that his fame will affect the way publishing companies
look at the book, reported contactmusic.com.
He said: "When I've finished it, I'll send it to an
editor, anonymously, in order for it to be judged
objectively. Because we all know about editors, don't we?
I could copy out the Yellow Pages and they would still
publish it simply because I'm a celebrity. This way at
least my manuscript could be turned down by some
21-year-old publisher and I would walk away totally
humiliated."

$150,000 after finding out that he had the money to fix
his teeth.

when he learned to play guitar. He is presently touring
Britain with his band Thunderbox, reports contactmusic.com.
He has watched actors like Juliette Lewis, Bruce Willis
and Jared Leto attempt to cross over to music but none
have been too successful.
But Seagal thinks he has what it takes. He said: "I don't
consider actors to be real musicians... I'm probably going
to get in trouble after saying that. I think Jeff Goldblum
is the only good musician. He's a good pianist."

Mills to be dropped by PETA?
New York, March 18 Heather Mills, the estranged
wife of singer Paul McCartney, may be dropped quietly by
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) because
they don't want to offend McCartney.
Mills came out strongly after she "exposed" the treatment
of pigs in factory farms but she did not do this with PETA,
reports pagesix.com.
Some people are speculating that PETA, which supported
Mills when she criticised fur wearers like Jennifer Lopez,
has cut relations with her because they are now siding
with McCartney in their divorce.

getting surgery when she is ready.

Los Angeles, March 18 Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez
has apparently been inspired by her own music to have a
baby with Marc Anthony, her husband of two years.

to have a child, reports www.hollywood.tv.
The Latin singer said the song was intended to be a
lullaby, "and when we began working on it, I was like
wouldn't it be great to have a song that I could sing to a
baby one day?"
"His (Anthony) total confidence and his total belief in me
helped me connect my heart to my voice," she added.
Not only that, Anthony has helped her to connect with
herself as a person.
"I'm hungry to grow," she said. "I'm hungry to be the best
I can be. It's a lifetime journey. I want to look back and

Los Angeles, March 18 Emma Watson, best known for
playing Hermione Granger in all five "Harry Potter" films,
has been assigned a bodyguard after a 20-year-old stalker
sneaked into her school and tried to talk to her.
A source told www.hollywood.tv: "The man was an admirer
who was over-zealous. He found out there were some open
lectures at the school and attended them. He left Watson
alarmed when he approached her and started talking to her
about the 'Potter' films.
"The school was informed and so were Emma's parents. It
was decided to call the police as the man was not known to
her. A minder was also hired to be with her."
After apprehending and questioning the young man, the
police let him off with a stern warning, telling him to
stay away from Watson. The young man has apparently taken
their heed, and no further incidents have been reported.
Emma is in her first year of A-Levels at an undisclosed

U2 court battle turned into art piece
London, March 17 Irish artist Kevin Sharkey has
turned music band U2's court battle with a former stylist
into a new art piece.
The band had taken stylist Lola Cashman to court last year
saying she had stolen items from them while she was
working as their style adviser in the 1980s. The band
claims Cashman took a Stetson hat which belonged to Bono,
earrings and clothing, reported contactmusic.com.
In a court ruling, the judge declared that Cashman had
taken the items without permission and was ordered to pay
all resulting legal fees. Sharkey, however, has turned the
scenario around and depicted Cashman as the victim.
He said: "For me it is much more than just vying for the
underdog. Lola was David to U2's Goliath, she could never
win."
Sharkey plans to use some of the money from the sales to
help pay off the bankrupt Cashman's legal bills.
