Jackie Chan says he is not anti-Korea

London, Oct 10 (IANS) Martial arts star Jackie Chan has rubbished reports that he slammed South Korea's burgeoning movie scene, insisting his remarks were twisted by the press.

According to entertainment portal contactmusic.com, the "Rush Hour" star was reported to have hit out at South Korea's lack of support for Chinese movie stars, even though China continually celebrates South Korean actors. 

He also denied having claimed the country's productions lacked quality.

He said: "I have lived in Korea for two years. Here, no one would believe that I am anti-Korea."
