Indo-Asian News Service
London, Jan 1 (IANS) Oscar nominated actor Johnny Depp was the most searched name in movies this year by users of the Internet film site imdb.com.

The managing director of imdb.com Keith Simanton says: "The starmeter reflects actual public interest in an individual celebrity. This list captures a snapshot in time of just how much attention these stars attracted.
"It's also interesting to see who tumbled out of the top 25 this year - a list that includes Jennifer Garner, who was on maternity leave for a good portion of the year; Vigo Mortensen, who needed more than a "History Of Violence" to keep his standing of No 23 last year; and Halle Berry, whose "Catwoman" turn last year kept her in the spotlight at No 19 but who is at No 63 this year."
