Schaffel criticises Jackson's orphanage trip

London, June 20 (IANS) Marc Schaffel, pop star Michael Jackson's former business associate, has slammed him for his continuing associations with the world's troubled kids.
According to contactmusic.com, Schaffel, who started working with Jackson in the late 1990s and supervised a number of projects for him, says he was shocked when he heard that Jackson had visited a Japanese orphanage recently - so soon after he was acquitted of child molestation charges.
He says: "I don't believe it to be in Michael's best interests to be gallivanting around orphanages with tons of kids running around."
