How Bosworth got Lois Lane role

London, April 7 (IANS) Actress Kate Bosworth said she got the part of Lois Lane in the new "Superman" movie only after one of her co-stars begged for her to be in it.
According to ananova.com, Bosworth said it was Kevin Spacey who brought up her name to the director Bryan Singer. Spacey and Bosworth had both worked together in the movie "Beyond The Sea".
She said: "Bryan Singer (the director)... told Kevin they were looking to cast Lois Lane. Kevin told him he had just worked with me and that he should take a look at the film and see what he thinks. I feel like a huge part of why I got the role was because of Kevin and how he put me forward."
The rest of the cast includes people that Singer has worked with before.
