Goldberg tips DeGeneres as next Oscars host

Los Angeles, Oct 5 (IANS) Oscar winning actress Whoopi Goldberg has said she will not host the next Academy awards but is recommending comedienne Ellen DeGeneres. 

According to Internet Movie Database, Goldberg feels she has had enough of hosting the awards and thinks DeGeneres would be the perfect host. DeGeneres recently hosted the Emmy Awards.

Goldberg says, "I think actually there's another young lady who would like to do it and so I've got my fingers crossed for her. I think it's Ellen. I think she would be good." 

Comedian Chris Rock hosted last year's awards show.
