'Chainsaw Massacre' tops horror movie poll

London, Sep 30 (IANS) The horror movie classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" has beaten other such classics as "The Exorcist" and "The Silence of The Lambs" to claim the top position as the scariest movie of all time.

According to contactmusic.com, the poll was conducted by the US magazine Giant. 

The top 10 list is: 1. "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"; 2. "The Silence Of The Lambs"; 3. "The Exorcist"; 4. "Night Of The Living Dead"; 5. "Audition"; 6. "Hellraiser"; 7. "The Fly"; 8. "Suspiria"; 9. "Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer"; 10. "Evil Dead".
