Martin wants to adopt

New York, Nov 16 (IANS) Latino singer Ricky Martin, who helps Indian street children, is following celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Madonna by adopting underprivileged kids.

Martin, an ambassador for the UN Children's Fund, has been quoted as saying by contactmusic.com that he wants to adopt needy children and raise them in his mansion in Florida.

"I believe that at some time in the future this house will be full of coloured crayons strewn over the floor and the walls will be covered with scribbles," he said. "There are a lot of kids out there in need of a home.
