Travolta, wife suggest 'silent birth' for Katie Holmes

Los Angeles, Oct 8 (IANS) John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston who are into scientology have suggested to Katie Holmes that she give a 'silent birth' to Tom Cruise's baby.
According to Internet Movie Database, they are urging Holmes to follow the church's strict doctrine.
Scientologists believe that babies must be born without any fuss and must be allowed to quietly get used to their surroundings.
There should be no talking or expressions of pain from the mother and no music, they believe.
Says Preston: "It's just because everything in moments of pain is really recorded and you want to have that (the birth) peacefully so that the baby is not affected."
