Lennon's fling lasted for seven years

London, Oct 4 (IANS) Late Beatle John Lennon supposedly enjoyed a long and intimate relationship with his personal assistant May Pang.
According to contactmusic.com, the affair continued even after most people believed it ended when Lennon returned to his wife Yoko Ono. The affair was supposed to have lasted between 1973 and 1974 for an 18-month period when he was separated from his wife Ono.
But Pang now says she and Lennon were involved physically for almost seven years.
She says, "It wasn't a fling. We had a 10-year-relationship and it was physical for six or seven of those." Pang now recalls Ono's request that she "look after" her husband when their marriage hit the rocks in 1973. She says, "She didn't know. Obviously she does now."
