Cox agrees to act in comedy

London, Oct 21 (IANS) Former "Friends" star Courtney Cox has agreed to star in a new comedy film.

According to ananova.com, the yet to be titled film will be produced by David Arquette Production that is co-owned by Cox and her husband, actor David Arquette. 

The plot revolves around a Southern socialite played by Cox, whose daughter's transformation into a street hip-hop dancer at first shatters her world, but later unites both mother and daughter.
