Polanski made 'Oliver Twist' for his kids

London, Oct 3 (IANS) Oscar winning director Roman Polanski says he made his new movie "Oliver Twist" as a gift for his two young children.
According to contactmusic.com, Polanski has shielded his kids from his more disturbing work and to make up for that he made "Oliver Twist" and even allowed Morgane, 13, and Elvis, 7, to have cameo roles in the film.
He said: "They come on the set of my movies, they know what I am doing, they live around all that, but the result of all this work is something so remote from their world they can't identify with it.
"I wanted something they could, so I started looking for subjects that would be suitable. It's for them, so they will be able to remember the movie some years from now when I won't be around."
