Paris Hilton calls off engagement

Los Angeles, Oct 2 (IANS) Just after four months of being engaged, socialite-actress Paris Hilton has called off her engagement to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, saying she does not want to make a mistake.
Hilton's aunt Kyle Richards said: "She feels that she's young and she wants to make sure it's right. She didn't want to make a mistake with the whole world watching," according to people.com.
But Paris was spotted partying the same night after giving the news. An onlooker said, "She was dancing wildly on top of her booth. She looked like she was having a good time."
Another source close to Hilton said: "The break up was her decision and she tried to return the ring to Latsis. He is very sad. He was trying to work things out. He was leaving her sweet messages."
