Vaughn says he is not dating Aniston

Los Angeles, Sep 18 (IANS) Actor Vince Vaughn says he is not dating Jennifer Aniston but wished he was because many of his fans would be disappointed if he and Aniston did not end up together.

Ever since Aniston and Vaughn were filming the movie "The Break-up" together, there have been rumours that they were a couple, according to Hollywood.com. 

But he says: "I know people would love it if we were dating. But we're not. We're just doing a movie together. The photos they try and use of us (together) are of us on the set. So hopefully that rumour will go away rather quickly because that is what the situation is."

Hopkins refuses to sign autographs

London, Sep 18 (IANS) Oscar winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins has stopped signing autographs since many of his fans simply want to sell them.

"I don't really mind all this TV and reporters and sound bite stuff you have to do. The only time I really resent the system is when I am being taken advantage of. Like when people get you to sign your autograph and then they turn around and sell it on the Web. That, to me, is a pain in the butt. Now I don't do autographs anymore and for only that reason," said Hopkins according to ananova.com. 

Rocker Cooper had whisky when he was a baby

London, Sep 18 (IANS) Veteran rocker Alice Cooper said he first tasted alcohol when he was just a few months old.

The 57-year old singer said his grandmother gave him whisky when he was teething and had trouble going to sleep, according to contactmusic.com. 

He said: "I don't think there's anything wrong with that. When I was teething and they were trying to get me to sleep, my grandma would make me a little hot toddy - tea, honey, lemon, and a half-shot of Jim Beam." 

"I'll tell you what - I slept great for eight hours. A little whisky on the gums is also good for teething. That's an old hillbilly cure."

Sheen's sports mania almost ended marriage

London, Sep 18 (IANS) Actor Charlie Sheen has said his marriage to Denise Richards almost ended because he used to watch too much sports on television and did not help with parenting.

Richards filed for divorce three years after marriage but the couple has been working through a few problems, according to contactmusic.com. 

Sheen said on the David Letterman show: "It's the first time I got dumped in my life. I think the one thing I would point to as a primary reason, basically, is that I was a gigantic a**.

"I had an epiphany later on what the sports highlight is for. The sports highlight is for parents, people that should be spending more time doing more important things." 

He added: "I had to take a step back and really take a look at myself and the situation. I made a commitment to this woman that I love, this family that I love and I realised this can be fixed and it's okay to part the ego, to abandon self and just stay true to my commitment and be a man of my word. Things are really good. Today we have hope, we have a shot."
