Bon Jovi offers opening slot to Rolling Stones

London, Oct 7 (IANS) Rock band Bon Jovi has half jokingly offered the legends Rolling Stones a supporting gig at their concert in London, which the former bagged.
According to contactmusic.com, the move to have Bon Jovi be the first band to play at Britain's most prestigious arena, Wembley Stadium, over The Rolling Stones came as a surprise to many.
As consolation, lead singer Jon Bon Jovi says he doesn't mind allowing the Rolling Stones to support his band at the concert.
He says: "Well, it's booked, but if they really want to open the venue, they can go on before us. I think that's a great idea."
