Italy pays homage to Sophia Loren

Los Angeles, Oct 6 (IANS) Italian screen legend Sophia Loren will be honoured in Rome through an exhibition that follows her career from beauty queen to film legend.

According to contactmusic.com, among the memorabilia displayed are costumes, jewellery, props, unseen movie outtakes and photographs. These will go on display at the prestigious Altar Of The Nation in Rome, usually reserved for major national events and art displays.

Director of exhibition Alessandro Nicosia says, "The great bonus is that she is contributing to it herself. The show will have everything."
