Pooja prepares for films - and exams

Bangalore, April 2 (IANS) She may be a popular film star but these days Kannada heroine Pooja Kanwal is busy studying for her graduation exams.

Pooja, who is studying in Mumbai, made her mark with the Kannada film "7 O'clock".
After her exams she is likely to go abroad and shoot three song sequences for "Tirupathi", in which she teams up with leading Kannada actor Sudeep.
Pooja was spotted by Producer Rajat Barjatya who cast her as a heroine in the Hindi film "Uff Kya Jadoo Mohobbat Hai", in which she was paired with Kannada star Dhyan, better known in Bollywood as Sameer.
Although the film failed miserably at the box office, Pooja succeeded in signing four Kannada films.
"Tirupathi", Pooja's second Kannada film, will be released in May. Interestingly, she is also acting in a film titled "Student", with Mayur Patel as the hero.
