1. "Anna Thangi" - Although "Jogi" has been a big hit in cities, it is "Anna Thangi" that is making waves in the interiors. Shivaraj Kumar, hero of both the films, thus becomes the star of 2005.

2. "Rama Shama Bhama" - The film has completed 50 days. A favourite with family audiences, the film is recording increasing collections. Kamal Haasan, who plays the main lead, has received a warm welcome on his return to Kannada cinema after a gap of 18 years.

3. "Sree" - It had a good opening because of the action sequences based on Thailand's Muvay martial art. The collections, however, have dropped in the second week.

4. "Amruthadhare" - The film is drawing viewers even after 20 weeks. It may become a silver jubilee hit, to the surprise of trade pundits.

5 "Jogi" - The collections of the film, which have created history, have now surpassed Rs.120 million. The appeal of the film on the Bangalore underworld is still to be fully analysed.

Bangalore, Feb 8 (IANS) The audio of "Anna Thangi", which was not doing well before the film's release, has now reached the top of this list.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Anna Thangi" - The melodious music by Hamsalekha is adding to the film's melodramatic appeal. Sales of the audio have been particularly brisk in northern Karnataka.

2. "Sree" - The tunes composed by Valisha-Sandeep have caught on with the youth. Foot-tapping songs, along with melodious duets like "Yaare neenu" and "Maniye maniye", have made the audio a success.

3. "Amruthadhare" - The audio sales have received a big boost from the film's box office success. Music director Mano Murthy has been proving lucky for his producers. Songs like "Mane katti nodu, maduve maadi nodu" and "Huduga huduga" are big hits.

4. "Jogi" - The audio continues to sell after creating a marketing record. The title song "Chuku buku railu" and "Hodi maga" are still chart-toppers.

5. "Ambi" - The film is yet to be released, but its music is making news. The company, which has released the audio, is confident of its success. The film's director, Nagendra Prasad, has also scored music for the film as well as written the lyrics.
