Gana Ulaganathan the new musical god in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, April 3 (IANS) "Vaazha meenukkum", sung by Gana Ulaganathan in "Chithiram Pesuthadi", is the biggest Tamil audio hit these days.

The top five albums are:
1. "Chithiram Pesuthadi" - Music: Sundar C. Babu. There is nothing more to say about the song, "Vaazha meenukkum". It is being played on every radio and television channels, election meetings and wedding receptions. Ulaganathan is the latest hero in the state.
2. "Pattiyal" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. Many new albums were released in the last few weeks but all were beaten out by one song - "Vaazha meenukkum". However, "Dae namma", a rendition by Vijay Yesudas is also making waves among music lovers.
3. "Tirupathi" - Music: Bharadwaj. The music of this Ajith starrer is no different from "Thirupachi" and "Sivakasi". What more do you expect Bharadwaj to do for a typical Perarasu film?
4. "Pudupettai" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. "Pudupettai" is still going strong, however, the release date of the film is still under wraps.
5. "Kalvanin Kathali" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. One more album from Yuvan has entered the top five chart and the most popular song is a duet - "Eno Kangal" - sung by Yuvan and Sadhana Sargam.
