An African safari for Vikram

Chennai, June 22 African locales will replace Tamil filmmakers'
favourite shooting venues in Western Europe and Australia in the
forthcoming film "Kandasamy", featuring popular star Vikram.
Susi Ganesan, dirctor of the mega-budget film, has chosen
locations in three African countries, after a 35-day long tour
of the continent.
He told the media after his return from the tour: "So far
Australia, Switzerland and the UK have provided the preferred
settings for sequences of Tamil films. We wanted to shoot such
scenes for our film in some other countries."
Ganesan has identified locations in wildlife rich Kenya and
Tanzania for sequences that would be visual treats for the
audience. Shooting in these venues will start in August.
"Kandasamy" will be the next big film for versatile Vikram after
