Fewer people attending Beckham's games in the US

London, July 21 (IANS) British football star David Beckham is losing his popularity as a player for the Los Angeles Galaxy football team.

TMZ.com reports that Beckham was injured most of the time as his team toured the states. His team played in Washington this season and attendance for that game was down by 10,000 although last year's game was played on a week night, it was raining and his injuries made his appearance unlikely.

Beckham is married to former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham who has her own clothing line, which seems to be doing pretty well. The couple, along with their children, left their native Britain and moved to the US to further their careers.
