Britney puts home for sale at slashed prices



London, June 5 (IANS) Pop diva Britney Spears has been been forced to slash the price of her Los Angeles home after it failed to sell courtesy the economic slowdown.

The "Toxic" hitmaker purchased the Beverly Hills residence for $7.9 million in 2007 but put the mansion up for sale last September, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Spears hasn't been able to sell the luxury villa and has now been forced to wipe $800,000 off the price tag in a bid to attract buyers.
