Teja puts 'Bhagiratha' on top

Hyderabad, Oct 20 (IANS) "Bhagiratha," which has received a good response due to its lead actor Ravi Teja, tops this fortnight's list of Telugu films.
The top five Telugu films are:
1. "Bhagiratha": Action star Ravi Teja in a different role has helped to break the jinx of cinematographer-turned-director Rasool.
2. "Allari Pidugu": Yet again, noted star Balakrishna chooses an insipid plot to disappoint his fans. Even the much-hyped dual role fails to impress due to Pachuri Bros' snail-paced screenplay. The film still occupies the second slot.
3. "Chhatrapathi": 'Desi' Stallone Prabhas makes a comeback by flexing his muscles and occasionally romancing pretty Shreya. Rajamouli delivers another slick action film.
4. "Athadu": The tale of an assassin Mahesh Babu, who solves the problems of a lovable family, is racing towards the 100-day mark after record-breaking openings. Trisha's charisma and some comedy bits are still drawing crowds.
5. "Premiste": The dubbed version of Tamil hit "Kaadal" has received critical acclaim but not encouraging collections.
