Junior NTR's Rakhi Telugu film :

'Rakhi' is ruling Telugu album

Hyderabad, Dec 15 Director-composer duo Krishna Vamsi and Devisri Prasad has delivered a top hit with "Rakhi".

The top five Telugu albums are:

1. "Rakhi" - Added to the main winning combination is the appeal of first time director Devisri Prasad teaming up with NTR Junior.

2. "Khatarnack" - After "Vikramarkudu", top-rung composer M.M. Keeravani seems to have given lanky actor Ravi Teja another musical hit. "Bujji paapa" and "Dhomu kodithe" are reaching their targeted mass listeners.

3. "Maharathi" - Kannada composer Guru Kiran has arrived with a bang in Telugu cinema with this album. "Unnamata cheputhanu" and "Kamala kutcha" have enthralled Balakrishna's huge fan following.

4. "Sainikudu: This is a good work by Harris Jayaraj. "Baila mow" and "Mayeera" were instant hits.

5. "Aadhi Lakshmi" - The audio's sale must have disappointed music director Chakri. "Nuvve naa celphone" and "Rojuko muddu", however, have proved to be catchy numbers.

'Sainikudu' tops Telugu films list

Hyderabad, Dec 15 Hotshot actor Mahesh Babu gives an unprecedented opening to "Sainikudu", which tops the Telugu films of the fortnight.

The top five Telugu films are:

1. "Sainikudu" - Director Gunasekar delivers a slick action film, which is doing remarkably well at the box office despite its hackneyed theme.

2. "Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw" - Director Prasad scores a hit with his hilarious entertainer, a remake of the Hindi hit "Malamaal Weekly". It is designed to attract the
Telugu audience.

3. "Pogaru" - After "Pandem Kodi", Vishal delivers another hit to establish himself on the Telugu screen. Long action scenes are the USP of the film with the masses lapping
up mindless 'actioners' these days.

4. "Samanyudu" - Jagapati Babu tastes a hit after a gap with the film. The film about a journalist trying to reform and then eliminating a corrupt minister has been well
received and has comfortably crossed the 50-day mark.

5. "Mayabazar" - After a promising film like "Grahanam", director Mohan Krishna disappoints with this clumsy fusion of love and mythology.
